Hi. I’m Ray Cruces.
My love for Electronics started out as a hobby circa 2013. At the time, I knew absolutely nothing about electronics. I tinkered, and tinkered, and took apart virtually everything that I came into contact with. I read as many electronics manuals from the school library as I could get my hands on. Cracking open guitar pedals quickly turned into cracking open tube amps. Eventually, in 2016 I decided this was less of a hobby and more of a life’s pursuit. This lead me to go back to school and pursue an Electrical Engineering degree.
I love to build custom effects and work on almost any new or vintage amps. I take great pride in my work. Everything coming out of the R.C.E. Shop is hand-wired in Los Angeles and built with love and a dedication to quality. There isn’t anything else I’d rather be doing.
